The Wide World of Web Design
I got into web design and development very early in my life, when I first found out I could create websites by writing HTML and CSS in a notepad file and saving it's extension as a webpage. From there I learned how high the skill ceiling is for this kind of work. Over time I have learned how to use CMS platforms such as WordPress, and functional development platforms such as ReactJS.
I got my first freelance web design and development contract during the Covid-19 lockdowns. The contract was given to my by Tufts University to create a new website from the ground up for one of their medical labs. Currently, I am employed full time as a Project Coordinator at a local web design firm in Burlington Vermont.
Bizmuth
Bizmuth was a semester long project focusing on web design, branding and UI / UX design. It required creating a fictional business, and building the branding and website around it. Bizmuth is a fictional site that provides customers with debit cards that allows them to spend crypto currency in physical stores. It taught me how to manage design around a brand, including logo design, color palettes, mockups and wireframes.

Colt Magri Portfolio
Created to showcase my achievements and projects to the world and possible employers. The original design was rushed and didn't have a cohesive style. The updated look, which is what is viewed now, went through the process of wire framing, design mockups and UI / UX design. Now the site has a cohesive style and more projects to showcase!

Tufts University - Poltorak Lab
In March of 2020, I accepted a freelance contract to design and develop a website for a medical lab at Tufts University. The project lasted around a month, and consisted of video calls with the client and incorporating their ideas into the larger design. It was my first freelance job, and I learned a lot from the experience.
