Where I Started

I was raised in coastal Maine for almost the entirety of my life. I went to a small middle school and a small high school, which taught me how to really value the close bonds I created while living there, with my friends and family. Interestingly enough, living near small coastal towns exposed me to the massive amount of small businesses with outdated branding and digital reach, which no doubt caused me to eventually pursue a career path in web related industries and graphic design.

After graduating high school, I decided to pursue an education at Champlain College as a game developer major. I stuck with this for the first year and half, but decided it wasn't where I wanted my career to go. I always love creating games as a hobby during middle school and high school, but once I started to focus on the development side, I lost the passion for it. I realized that this was because programming was a skill I learned to get to the things I actually liked to do, which came down to design.

Because of this I switched my education to a Computer Science major and a specialization in Digital Content and UI / UX Design. It was by far the best decision I made, and I moved forward on working on a career with web design, and graduated Champlain College in 2022.
